Testimonials for Jordan

Story from parent and Jordan graduate Stephen

Jordan High School has been, and continues to be, an amazing school with a long history of academic excellence and achievement. The creation of the Freshman Academy is just the latest innovation that has brought national attention to Jordan. Story from parent Sally

The biggest asset that Jordan has is in its teachers. I have witnessed many of them going above and beyond to make sure they are good role models and that every student has an opportunity for a good education, should they choose it. Parent Ellen's story

I have been very pleased with the quality of education both of my sons have received at Jordan High School. My older son began college with 24 college credits as a result of the AP classes he was able to take at Jordan. The teachers are very accessible – many have websites and/or send out e-mail newsletters to keep parents informed. Jordan also has an incredible music program with several jazz groups consistently winning awards at regional competitions.

This same teacher thought he should take AP classes and allowed him to take the entrance exam on a day that didn’t conflict with basketball practice. He took AP English III and performed very well, earning an exam score high enough for college credit at some institutions.
